    Chamber of Commerce Designing New Website...Please Give Ideas?

    You don't like the applet? Darn...I love the applet! Getting rid of tables I can handle. Any others?

    I don't have java installed, and i'm not about to download the 40meg app just so i can see whatever is there. Most people would share the same sentiment (dial up users especially)

    visual quality of the site is good. however i subscribe to the school of thought that too much scrolling is not good design. What is defined as too much is open to interpratation, but i make sure our designers allow for 1.5 times the size of a page in 800x600 unless there are exceptional circumstances.
