My Avatar has been the same for ages and ages....... I like it myself (it actually is me...lol)...... not everyone feels this way RE: the second post in this whole thread (thanks dan T i feel honoured).... but contrary to what PEO said Avatars do not change that much sometimes... at least not mine as I have not had the time, inclination, patience or care...........

i change my av every now and then. unforutunately, most of the ones i find are too big

Same here; I think as size larger than 50x50 should be allowed because there is plenty of room, let's say, for a 150x150; just put limitations on file sizes.
