I've tried to make my own Avatar. I have REALLY bad Gif animation software. It's meant for big photograph gifs and can't handle something 50x50px.

this thread originally started out as "who has the best avatar" and, of course, went off course shortly thereafter. when it was decided to close the Happy Birthday, Peo thread, i said that this thread could stay open, as long as it stayed relatively on-topic. it then overtook the HBP thread (also known as The Thread, Nick's Thread, Peo's Thread, etc.) in post count. if you want to search for the purpose of that thread, search through my posts in it and i explained it in there somewhere. this thread, however, is here for the purpose of having a massive thread, as well occasional discussion of avatars.

i went through The Thread one time when it was at like 81 pages or something and made a list of all of the topics it touched on. that was good use of my time...

What you talkin bout? This thread's only 42 pages. Do we live in some alternate dimension where the number of pages shrinks as the amount of posts increase?
