You make a good point, in that there are many cd's that don't get old. But I have to tell you, that I'm not really "music-y" in that, I don't really listen to the radio, watch videos, etc. Most of the stuff I do listen to is pretty old. So I mean it when I say that I wasn't pimped by the media to listen to Green Day. And most of my friends hate the CD. So I wasn't really pimped by them, either. It was just by chance that a friend of mine lent me the CD and I was enamored.
At any rate, I get the feeling our tastes in music are so vastly different that we're not going to come to any sort of agreement. I'll just agree to disagree. You can go stick your head in the ground and call yourself Alice, for all I care, so long as you don't say Billie Joe is a sellout hack again.
