    Hi,

Got a new simple and minimalist website up and running at http://www.minimal8.co.uk

I would greatly appreciate any comments and opinions about it - you can be as honest as you wish!

Could use some color and graphics...are you against that because of the whole "minimal" thing?

Excellent! Not minimal enough. Why not reduce your font a small amount and use justification to give the text column a clean right edge.

One other thought would be to VERY subtly use an slightly off-white background (e.g. #EBF8FB), just to reduce the screen glare a tad.

I would center the main content area and then add the off-white color for the non-main content background. Just have the off-white color be subtle enough to where somebody just barely notices it. Centering it helps on larger resolutions, and just adding a touch of color helps focus the reader on the content area better.

    Hi Min8

I like the minimalist feel - being able to communicate messages without lots of text and graphics is an excellent approach. The light blue and grey work extremely well together with the colour serving to draw the users attention to specific areas of the navigation/page.

I would consider not using line spacing within the paragraphs as the page looses it's high res/high quality feel a little (at least in 800x600 which is still extremely common) and makes the user use the scroll bar unecessarily.
