    Domain name question

    I have a registered domain name (www.abcd.com). What I wish to do is be able to precede the domain name by another name.
    Example: www.mail.abcd.com. I have seen this around but do not know what I need to do to be able to set it up.

    I am using IIS on Windows Server 2000. Any help would be appreciated.

    That new name has to be registered with the DNS server that is autoritative for the domain abcd.com, just like the www was.
