Hi, I am relatively new to this forum.
I am wondering is there a way to edit my post after I posted it? Sometime I caught typos after I submitted the post, but I don't seem to be able to correct it.
Another thing is is there a way to turn emojis? when I post a line of code contains symbols like ; ( : ( if I don't put a space in between it turns into a bunch of funky emojis, makes the code hard to read and look weird. :] :}
The edit feature is turned off until you reach a certain number of posts. (I do not know what that number is.) This is an unfortunate necessity to help thwart forum spammers.
When posting code snippets, use this forum's [code]...[/code], [html]...[/html], or [php]...[/php] tags as appropriate. They'll not only prevent emojis within them, but help with the formatting to make it easier to read. See http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode for all the bbcode tag options.
If you make a typo - just create another "correcting" type of post and explain what yiu meant to say... The post count to get the edit button isn't too far off.
Emojis -> Disable smilies in textIf selected, will not be replaced with http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/im...lies/smile.png
That option is at the bottom of every new thread window.
