Structured data has the advantage of being easily entered, stored, queried and analyzed. At one time, because of the high cost and performance limitations of storage, memory and processing, relational databases and spreadsheets using structured data were the only way to effectively manage data.

Structured data refers to any data that resides in a fixed field within a record or file. This includes data contained in relational databases and spreadsheets.

Structured Data is very useful feature. Hovewer it can't improve the speed of indexing of your site pages, but help boost CTR

I've just recently been adding this to my site. Took a little while to get my head around it but it seems to be paying off!

For the most part, structured data refers to information with a high degree of organization, such that inclusion in a relational database is seamless and readily searchable by simple, straightforward search engine algorithms or other search operations; whereas unstructured data is essentially the opposite

    Thank you!

    hi,
Structured data refers to kinds of data with a high level of organization, such as information in a relational database. When information is highly structured and predictable, search engines can more easily organize and display it in creative ways.

The purpose of storing an index is to optimize speed and performance in finding relevant documents for a search query. Without an index, the search engine would scan every document in the corpus, which would require considerable time and computing power.
A major challenge in the design of search engines is the management of serial computing processes.
Thus having structured data is useful for the achieving better positioning in searches.

    Thanks,
