I am working on a project for school and need some data to work with. I am asking if people who would have a spare minute to export their internet explorer favorites and send it to my email.
you can send me partial lists, or even better, the whole directory.
that would help me alot if you have time... I am working on, yet another, search engine. but this one is just for my research.... I dont seriously think it would take the place of google or some others; like I said, its just for a project, and I can let you know about it if you really wanted to know.
I dont want to get into some debate about what is a real browser and what is imaginary, I just need some data and IE is pretty real as far as user-based demographics and my research.
Kind of odd, though, seeing as we're not exactly using "books." Okay, if you want to get all technical on me, some people are using "notebook computers," but it's not the same thing. Bookmarks is a cooler word than favorites, though. They should call them something like... Sitemarks, or... Webmarks... or something.

The point is, those are my 'favorites', everyone else list yours... its not a big deal. They are actually not bookmarks either, well sorta, they are stored in the tool bar folder, so they are toolbar items.

...marks ...marks...
How about "Hydrants" for a name
Working web site is not the one that looks the same in a few graphical browsers, but the one that adequately delivers its content to any device accessing it.

Pyro, maybe the more appropriate question is, what kind of project?
