You can't rank your website too easily in Google, in other words without taking any efforts. Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Optimization, Pay per click these are some techniques, which can help to improve the ranking.

Firstly try to improve your website loading speed and have your website responsive. Than look forward for On Page Optimization, Content Promotion, building quality of backlinks, promoting your website in social media platform, running online campaigns, etc.

The best way to improve your google ranking is providing good content.
Content is king. Best is to get new content up on a regular basis. When your website gets content updates, the search engine spiders will look again to you site in time.

Loading speed comes second after this. The internet is very fast, and no one wants to wait until something shows up. A visitor decides often within seconds it he wants to remain on a website or not. If there is nothing to be seen within these seconds, he will be gone to the next website.

When you write your content you can use certain keywords on your pages. These are words that you want the search eninges to associate with your page, so when someone searches after these keywords your website eventually shows up in the first results.
So you use them often, in headings, page titles and as alt-Text for pictures. But you should not overdo it, don't spam your site with keywords, instead use them in a meaningful way within your content.

There is more, but this can give a start.

You yourself can do SEO for this web, just keep in mind that there are some things that you need to understand first.
Start with On-Page SEO, Like Proper Tags and attributes, do proper keyword research, Use of "H" tags Properly, if images then must use "alt" attribute because categorize images by reading the "alt" tags, sitemap and some more things.
Then on OFF-Page build good quality backlinks and post articles and blog post with unique content linking towards your site with proper keywords targeted to get them rank higher.

For Good SEO Good Quality Content is very important, Good Quality mean that it should be unique and relevant with proper Keywords to be targeted and proper internal linking and Most of all it should be unique(Not Copied) and update content regularly.

SEO simply stands for Search Engine Optimization. This is where you construct your web pages and implement certain techniques to help you rank as high as possible on search engine result pages (SERPs). The higher your pages can rank on Google/Bing/Yahoo/etc. results pages, the more traffic your site is likely to get.

On-Page SEO refers to all the things that you can do ON your website to help you rank higher, such as page titles, internal linking, meta tags & descriptions, etc.

Off-Page SEO refers to all the things that you can do directly on your website to help you rank higher, such as social networking, article submission, forum & blog marketing, etc.
