    Trying to make a website

    Hello guys ! new here my name is Shai,
    Nice to meet you'all

    i have made an index.html file + img + css
    that works Great on the browser checks.
    i purchased a linux host server, i moved the files orgenized in folders in to httpdocs,
    and i still dont have any response as a homepage.
    what should i do?
    thats a project im doing for free for a friend of my father but i still want to look professional.. so please HELP ..

    How did you develop the site on your computer? Did you use an editor?

    Often the problem is the initial design and any references to resources like images and css.

    So you need to post the HTML you used, use the Forum BBCode "HTML tag" as shown in my signature to wrap around your code, it helps a lot.
    --> JavaScript Frameworks like JQuery, Angular, Node <--
    ... and please remember to wrap code with forum BBCode tags:-

    [CODE]...[/CODE] [HTML]...[/HTML] [PHP]...[/PHP]

    If you can't think outside the box, you will be trapped forever with no escape...

    i use brackets editor.
    you dont understand...
    i built it and it runs great on the browser,
    the problam is that im trying to put it in the host, and i dont know if im doing it correctly, i mean obbviuesly not because it not working hehe

    i have uploaded a index.html file to httpdocs,
    the host server is linux if it matters.
    and i when i'm going to the domain it just gives me an error...

    If you developed the site on a Windows platform, minor errors of case in file names, such as "Myfile.html" and "myfile.html" will be treated as identical. When you move these files to a Unix based platform, they will be not. So I'd suggest that you should check the file names.

    Why don't you use some CMS for it? I use motocms website builder which work just perfectly. I recommend you to go this way too, guys!

    You should use CMS because these are easy and comfortable.
