    resolved [RESOLVED] New to Laravel, cannot follow route

    I'm trying to get my feet wet with laravel, but i ran into a problem not even 10 minutes into the tutorial. I'm running this on a site called testweb1.com which is internal site on a server across the network. The basic app runs, i get the Laravel greeting page when calling testweb1. Following the tutorial from Traversy Media i created an about.blade.php. The problem is that i cannot find the page when calling testweb1/about i get a 404 error. I follow several hints from google suggesting that the directory directive should be included in apache and the .htaccess
    This is what i have on web.php:
    PHP Code:
    Route::get('/''PagesController@index');

    Route::get('/about', function(){
        return
    'hello';
    });
    As i understand by typing testweb1/about i should get hellow, i get a 404.
    Any ideas

    One thing that i forgot to add, if i do:
    PHP Code:
    Route::get('/','PagesController@about');
    I get the "about" page.

    In case anyone has a similar problem. It has to do with the write access to the website directory. In my case was solve by given read and write access to the www directory (apache2), in my case this is an internal web server but this is a big security problem if it was a public web server. In that case, public web server, i would need to spend more time to see where is php writing things to give access just to those directories.
