Moving NAvigation Bar
I need the code for situation like this
I see on the some websites that the
navigation table or bar on one side of the webpage
keep moving down or upwards as we move up
Navigation bar keeps itself in the center of the page
Can u please give me code for that.
i am using D/W
Which kind? There are three types of that effect. The first, and best, doesn't work in IE; if you're using IE you won't have seen it. It involves using the CSS attribute position:fixed to fix the menu in one place.
Please tell me which one to use
i am preparing my second website only and i am not experienced webmaster.
I am not using frames for layout of the website and using IE as explorer.
it appears as though you can set it to be X pixels from the top or left.
this is what i was looking for but as u said not all visitors will be able to use it.Can users of IE can use it properly.
and where i can learn to meke such kind of things
Can u please se where its wrong
i tried to use it,
its top positioning is not working finely.
i set left 0px top 100 px z index 2
and the menu appears on the top
not 100 px down
what might be wrong in that can u please see it.
Secondly what is this z index.
<div id="object1" style="position:absolute; visibility:show; left:0px; top:100px; z-index:2">
<table width="95" border="0">
<td height="24"><a href="/index.htm"><img src="/assets/home.jpg" alt="www.mytutoronline.com" width="90" height="25" border="0"></a></td>
