    "What does that stand for?"

    I've been working on a list of acronyms and wanted to know if everyone here agreed with it, and had anything to add, so that there could be no more confusion as to what things stood for; an official list, you know?

    I've added those, but up here LMFAO is Laughing My Fat Ass Off... but I added it as an -or- anyways. BTW: New updates will be here: http://personified.complexfellow.com/acronym.php

    The popup icon was annoying me, and I'm going to eventually link to it from my blog so I don't have to add <acronym> tags, anyways.

    Well there are a tad more than i originally thought. But are these universal or just your specific general interpretations. For example, i thought NM was nevermind. Oh well, language is moving on...

    And you missing about 400 from web dev. CGI, API, GUI, VB, Perl. For example.

    Dave- If I thought of one but didn't know what it stood for, then I skipped it entirely, so a lot from webdev are missing that way. I have to put them the way that I use them, since I'm the mod, and if I don't then it gets messy.

    Buntine- Er... could you tell me what CGI, API, GUI, Perl stand for? The only one I knew was Visual Basic...

    Adam- I'll add that in.

    Thuko- I'll fix the typo.

    CGI = Common Gateway Interface
    GUI = Graphical User Interface
    API = Application Program Interface
    Perl = Practical Extraction and Reporting Language

    Thanks, I just added those in. Whoa, there's getting to be way too many webdevelopment ones- their has got to be more normal ones, like ones you use on AIM and YIM.
