(another) new layout - i will pay you for your criticism. in Who's Line points.
I just finished my new layout for my blog site (which will be back up soon(which is what I said 2 months ago)). It is about the tenth layout I have made for it, and the first one I have liked. It validates as XHTML 1.1 Trans, and CSS will validate when CSS3 comes out. The only cross-browser issue I have noticed is a small(about 2 pixels) gap between the "banner" image and the navigation(btw, I need help fixing this, 'cuz I can't figure it out). Anyways, tell me what you think.
I like it. I have noticed a trend in the way you stick to one set of colours so easily. I.e your previous orange spectacle and now alas a blue lagooon. Yet it looks good and has an attractive heading image.

yah firefox can be annoying sometimes cant it? Thats because of the fixed background, fire fox does it at a lot of sites with a fixed background for me. Yeah. That happened on one of Jona's sites, but I think that was from the transparency, because it sorta stopped if I disabled the transparency.

So what is the blog going to be about? I ask because I think the banner is going to be very distracting(gee, you think ), and I wonder if having those kinds of pics are really going to be best suited for your blog. I would actually use a more white based color scheme based on the pics you are using currently because the other colors, all the more so for the blue one, make the banner pics stand out all the more.
If you don't think the banner images dominate your blog, just look at how much talk of them dominate this thread.

Heh heh, yes, I was going to have to do some sort of another "redesign" anyway, as I lost ALL the PNG's for this one
