    What kind of site is Amazon.com?

    I was just curious as to which database technology a site like Amazon.com uses?
    Does anyone know what they use to script that site?

    It doesn't look like Java to me, just from looking at the URI's they use. Doesn't have a Java feel to it, although it is possible.

    I have a feeling the RDBMS is probably Oracle.
