So anyone take AP classes in high school/what classes are yout taking

if you dont know what it is, its just if you get a certain score (1-5, 5 being the highest) colleges will except the class for credits. In 10th grade I took World History, I got a 5 so I was pretty happy, this year though my schedule is alot harder. here it is.

    AP US History
    AP European History
    AP Physics
    Phsics Lab/GYM
    AP Statistics
    Lunch
    AP Biology(2 periods a day)

For AP Euro I got a summer assignment in the mail today. I have to read A World Lit Only by Fire: the Medieval Mind and the Renaissance, Portrait of an age.

Also when does school start for you guys for me its September 8th

I'm taking Honors English 3, AP Chemistry, AP US History, Honors Precalc, Latin 2, and lots of other things that i dont have to take but i do anyway... Honors and AP are the same thing...so interchange them when necessary.

I go back the second of september.

That sounds like an excellent book.

    I took
AP us history - got a 2 on the test
    AP us Gov - got a 3
    Ap micro economics - got a 3
    Ap computer science a(java) - got a 3

    I will take next year
    Ap lit
    Ap physics
    Ap staistics

I choose not to take ap euro. I chose to take as many easy classes as possible because its my last year and I have a job that I will have to balance with school too.

    ROTFL!

I’m an underachiever, but I still get by; I muddled my way through 10th grade and did better doing that than I ever did trying.

psh. i didn't take a single AP class, and none of them would've helped me and i'm STILL going to college for free.

exactly what is this "alleged" future you're preparing for?

oh. good for you. i have a friend going there. i thought about it, but didn't want to go that far from home. which is the exact same reason why i left my yale application in some girl's car and didn't even bother to ask for it back.

I am applying for computer engineering at Auburn. I should be able to get in state tuition even though (I live in florida, not alabama), maybe even a partial scolarship on top of that (gpa and sat score (if I get my sat up another few points)). I was already accepted there. I plan on applying to Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech too, but they will not give me the sweet deal that Auburn will give me. Plus Auburn is 60% female... georgia tech is a sausage fest.
