Talking what a great place - new member

    New member here,

Would like to say what a greta place this is with so much info for me to read on before redisigning my website which is only in HTML code. Although not much time to to things at the moment, no much spare time (would love a total new look)

I'll be reading through the forums regular for info and updates on other members website, which all look great.

    My Personal Website

    Welcome to the boards!!!!

First add a doctype declaration to your site and lose the tables for layout and use css. Use semantic(meaningful) mark-up which basically means if you have a list of links like your menu then mark it up as an unordered list and style with css.

Its easy to use which is a good thing.
    Hope that helps you.

I would just drop the hit counter. Read this article because it explains why: The do's and don'ts of web design

    Otherwise great site! Very informative.
