CSS Filters...

I'm having a problem getting CSS filters to work... I made a new webpage and made a span tag with all the necessary attributes/properties (the width, height and the filter); I worked...until I copy and pasted it to my website... it ended up as normal text...any suggestions/solutions anyone?

Filters are NOT CSS.

They are what the MS marketing department like to call "MS Extensions to CSS".

To make them work (in IE only) you should probably visit microsofts develper site and read up on how they work.
