Image Maps or Javascripts

Hi there,

I wish to create an Image Map of the UK so that when I move the mouse on a particular area this will display details of each of our branches in a caption to the right of the Image.

Should I be using Javascript for this?

For accessibility use JavaScript as an enhancement. Provide an alternative for non scripting browsers.
