I think it's allowed as long as you aren't posting it. If the person starts spamming the boards about his site, then some mod. will layeth the smacketh downeth, methinks.
    Thousand different paths
    So many sterile ends
    I chose the Devil's path

Never shall the sun kiss my face
And caress me with it's burning light
For I dwell in the shadows
And sleep side by side with death

Nah, I don't see what the harm is if its to your own site or a site you like. If it's something obvious, though... Like if this was your sig:

WANT YOUR OWN PROFESSIONAL WEBSITE THAT WILL BRING YOU LOTS OF CASH $$$$$$$$$ ??!!! I DO WEB DESIGN! BEST RATES YOU'LL FIND! MAKE LOTS OF MONEY IN JUST A FEW WEEKS WITH A UNIQUE WEBSITE!!! GO TO MY WEBSITE NOW AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!
    Now that would be annoying.

I think the basic rule is that linkage to a personal site is fine, and linkage to a site that might help someone is fine, but if the site is trying to get you to buy something, then it should be disallowed.

i think you should be able to say what you want in your signatures. As long as it is not too long and isn't offensive (the standard drills).

it's the threads you make that matter. i mean we can all tell a spam thread. a little harder to tell a spam signature.

    Best Wishes,
