I've noticed in my travels into .net that the CustomValidator doesn't fire the validation function when the control it is associated with is empty.

What if I want to conditionally require a control? ie: it only becomes required if, say, a radio button is checked.

I'm having to implement a hefty work-around for a problem I've encountered in my first form.

I notice that Struts now implements this functionality, will .net follow?
