    Unhappy Weird Files

    Hello!

    Whenever i create a new folder on my computer, or use a previous one, a file called PPThumbs.ptn appears hidden in the folder.
    Does any one know what this is because it chokes up a bit of memory in every folder, and i don't know what it is.

    Do you have Scansoft's Paperport installed on your computer? I believe that program creates them automatically when run.

    Yeah, i have ScanSoft. So, are they OK to kepp on my computer then??

    They store thumbnails of images in each folder, and are fine to leave alone provided they don't take up too much space. You can delete them individually if you wish with no ill effects, but they will be recreated when Paperport is run.
