    Search Engine Submition

    Hi, what is the best way to submit my site to a search engine, and do you have any tips to keeping it up the top???

    P.S also do i need something in the meta tag for it aswell like key words?

    Well you can submit your site to dmoz just do a google search for it. That should get it in a few search engines. The best way though is to use css for layout and xhtml so you seperate content from presentation. Alowing the content to be spidered easier. Meta tags wont go a miss but their relavince in these days search engines may not be as appropriate as they used to be.

    getting listed in dmoz is very hard...
    You really need to generate links to your site, so that it can be spidered. e.g. from online directory sites, even linking to it in your signature on the forum.
