Can anyone tell me where I can find Java resource sites, IM looking for Syntax & code examples and other tutorial based learning.

I have been developing some Ideas in Javascript and would like to convert the code I have so far developed into Java apps and applets, packages or whatever they are called.

Java is not a script.

search on java.sun.com in blueprints for syntax and tips;
also there is many app code & samples.
