Just little confused

I am use web matrix for my asp.net project because visual studio is too expensive for me. But thing is it is only 1.3 MB is size and visual studio .Net is more then 2 GB in size! If it is going to do same thing than what is the main difference between Web Matrix and visual studio .Net??

Web Matrix is alright, but visual studio.net has a whole lot more features. One of the big things is webmatrix is only for asp.net, vb.net is for all of visual studio.net and it can handle every .net language. Which means it compiles every .net language.

I use dreamweaver myself.
