    How would I do this?

    I'm new to this entire web design thing, but i'm really starting to enjoy it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to make it so that the middle of my web page has its own scrolling text area. For example, if I wanted the middle area of this template: www.chop-it-up.com/NewSite/Site_Layout.jpg to have a separate scrollbar from the rest of the page. I don't know if I should use frames, or scrolling text boxes, or what. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

    you will have to devide your page into 4 frames, left,right,top and middle. And whenever you will click on any button from top, left or right then you will use _mainFrame as target of the URL.

    Or, more preferredly, you could make a scrollable div, something like the following:

    Code:
    <div style="width: 400px; height: 100px; border:1px solid; overflow:auto">
    This is some sample text to show what happens.
    This is some sample text to show what happens.
    This is some sample text to show what happens.
    This is some sample text to show what happens.

    This is some sample text to show what happens.

    This is some sample text to show what happens.
    </div>
