HTML and JavaScript vs. WinXP SP2

After installation Win XP SP2 the following problem has appeared. Any means it is impossible to hide statusbar. I trieв to use:
    window.open I set "status=no, statusbar=no, statusbars=no".
I tried to hide status using JavaScript right on the html page. But without any results.
This problem was found also in Windows 2003 Server after full update of MS IE. What to do?

Damn, RussianSpy--You're posting this in the wrong forum. You need to post this in the JAVASCRIPT forum.
