I am working on an assignment where I have to make a website functional by adding asp components to it. It is a regular site for purchasing tea products. We have been provided a partial database and have to work through and activate all the use cases we developed for it earlier, for instance shopping cart and user log in. I have made the site in dreamweaver and do not have prior experience in asp at all. Hence I have no idea where to begin. Can someone please direct me as to how I should start on this and a few guidelines on how to proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your question is very broad and I've usually seen very punctual topics posted on this forum. Try checking out www.w3schools.com, they have pretty good tutorials for beginners and that'll get you going, hopefully!
