SERPs better with Yahoo directory?

I was wondering if anyone has the wisdom to pass on, in regards of the effects of the SERPs after getting your Website added to the Yahoo Directory for $299.00?

Did it dramatically improve your ratings in Google? Is it worth the money?

Some say yes, Some say no.

My view is that if you have a poor PR and few backlinks, when you get your site in the Yahoo directory, it will give you a big kick, and therefor those people will say that it makes a big change.

But if you already have a nice PR (around 5) and lots of BL, I don't think you'll see a big change.

How much traffic do you receive on a monthly basis?
Do you know if you get many good leads from the directory?

I mean, if you get a couple of sales from the directory then i would consider this a good investment.
