    What is a DRIVER CLASS?

    What is a driver class? :|

    I search it on google and I get results relating to Java SQL. :S

    In general I guess you could say it's an implimentation of some I/O related interface. The most common is probably the JDBC drivers and their related driver manager class so maybe that's why your search mainly turned up JDBC references.
