Google has become the door keeper to the Internet. They can pretty much charge whatever they want for their paid listings. And if they do not like what they see on your website they will block you and make you invisible for most Internet users.
I don't know about you guys but I think this is kinda scary.
I've never heard one saying that he actually has been blocked by google. Never heard this being verified
Another rumour is "don't submit your website more than once or you will get blocked" > don't buy this, as it would the easiest way to get rid of your competitors.
Well, for one Google blocks popup banners with their toolbar and then turns around and sells paid ads.
Running JavaScript from a Web site within users' browsers is as invasive as popups and Google not only doesn't block JavaScript, but uses JavaScript to deliver its ads—and track users' responses to the ads across multiple Web sites.
Google's business model seems parasitic as its entire business is based on using other companies' and individuals' content without their consent and without compensating them. That was 'ok' since the Internet community in an informal way agreed that the concept of Web search, spiders, and crawling is in general very useful. But Google is no longer simply publishing headlines and links; with its cached pages, it is taking the entire content of other sites and displaying them on Google, without permission and worse they filter it to their need and liking.
Does someone know of a good tool to undo their system and block their ads?
Is InternMute any good?
With the use of their keyword stemming and its PageRank algorithm, it provides you with the most revelant keyword searches. Google has been doing well by broadening their horizon and providing the online community better ways of seeking revelant informational content.
MSN Beta has been good but does not seem to provide exceptional / orginal search results, to take Google of its high horse.
