Looks fine to me. It's a bit boring but if I was into it, then yes, it would serve it's purpose, right on.
The only negitive thing I can see is the nav bar has that bleeding effect. All of your text is clean and sharp except for the nav.

I hate when that happens. I would use paint to create them then save them as jpeg. If you can't, then use paint to create them and save them as bmp...then open a jpeg photo in paint and paste your button on top, crop it and save...it will become a jpeg.

Maybe amaturish but it works and it's fast.
