Well I normaly use my gmail but I use yahoo for online games and stuff. Well did any of you guys get this email?
Dear Yahoo! Mail User,
The Yahoo! Mail servers are currently under heavy
stress due to
unproportional usage of our email services. Thus The
Yahoo! Mail Staff
has decided to reduce the number of Yahoo! Mail
accounts by a huge margin
to regain its potential.
All accounts which are currently not under use shall
permanently from our web servers. If you wish to
retain your Yahoo! Mail
account kindly send an email to
with the subject as "CONFIRMATION" and the message
containing the following details seperated by
Login ; Password ; Date of Birth ; Country
Accounts not confirmed shall be rendered terminated.
Yahoo! Mail sincerely
regrets the inconvenience caused to its clients.
The Yahoo! Mail Staff
did they give a deadline? I like to use my yahoo email as a spam account that I give out on forms that require an email or something... so my real email does not end up on mailing lists.
nope thats the exact email (no pic in email)
I think its fake but i dont know
I'd bet a big hunk of change it's someone trying to steal login id's and passwords. I'd forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org and let them deal with it.

They say "seperate with colons" yet their example is seperated by semi-colons.
Definatley a fake. Was is simple text or fancy Yahoo! style email?
Gosh... I did not even think about any of this... I just thought "humm, no deadline, that is odd". I didn't put much thought into it when I first read it.
