    :( Suprnova.org has been taken offline

    It seems the MPAA has pitched a fit got the world's best tourrant source knocked offline; funny thing is, the .com and .net versions (scams) are still online.

    Well suprnova.org is not what I am upset about. I am upset about othersites that are now getting looked at. Kerrazy torretns removed some contents like software and games and went back to just metal torrents because people do not care as much to metal bands wich are on out of the country or very small lables.

    Well, I'm on the look out for a new torrent source; I'll post again if I find one.

    Torrents are not illegal. Infact many reutable sites use them for downloads to save traffic on their servers. I have downloaded several linux isos from bt. Its not the network that is illegal, it is certain content that is seeded by "aubsuers" that is illegal.

    yes you are correct Peo and we all know that, but the content on supanova.org was mostly pirated/cracked/copied/leaked software/games/apps/films. And im not saying i didnt use it, im not saying i wont miss it, all i said was this is not the place to discuss it

    Talking about what happen with Suprnova.org is Something as developers we should be talking about in more depth!

    At what point is creating a site such as this become a moral issue or legal issue.

    As a Resident of the state with the highest rate of pirated... I dont see how shutting down that site will make a dent in the problem.

    ON a side note not all content on Suprnova was illegal.

    I really should edit David's post however I see the meaning of his thread and was not ment to promote illegal software trading.
