net send need help

messenger and alerter services need to be running both on target and sender.

you need to be on an nt or win2k, win2k3 network.

you need to know the machine name or logged in user name of target machine.

syntax is: NET SEND TargetName "Here is a message"

if you are trying to net send files, forget about it. long gone. you can only net send textual alerts
