there cool. but the ads really take away the looks.

Cool... Ads at top are a little distracting, as well as blue scrollbar.
Might use different syntax instead of "click here to enter..." - if you have to indicate "click here," then your link may not be too obvious in the first place.

thanks, i can'r really remove the Ad's because it's a free server so, that that really!
I found what they call the "skin" to give it a bit orf a blue effect but i have xchanged a lot of the CSS and made it look a lot better, like when you view someones name depending on what group they are in, they are given a different colour and i have also added like a glow effect from what used to be a shadow (The glow is much better than the shadow though)
Any way, thanks for the replies, any other ideas on how to make it look better?

I'm glad you care about the look. Most people don't or it just seems that way since they try to cram a bunch of little teeny tiny words everywhere and it looks like a mess. If the look isn't at least nice people will leave sooner.

Your glow instead of the shadow is a nice touch. The whole set up looks sharp.

Improvements?
I think the top of the page really hurts the design.
I would change "Click here to enter the rpg" to > Enter the RPG <, it's underlined so people will know it's a link and the arrows will shout it's a link to people that don't surf much. I'ld make it dark blue too so it's not so distracting, (not purple).
Again the banner with the different times in it seems so out of place. It is cool, (can I have it? Please.) but I would change the colors to alternating darker than your site blue tones, just two with a lighter blue text so it would all blend in.

Other than that the site looks very cool, I like the scroll bar too.

Oh, sorry but the piano sounds really sad and I didn't see a button to turn it off either.

thanks. yeah, i was meant to change the music (it's a little vcrappy MIDI file) so i'll edit that now.
