MS DOS Help please

Currently, when I open a dos command prompt window, the initial path says

c:\Windows\system32>

How do I make it start at

c:\Work

instead?

one way is to copy cmd.exe to the c:/work/ folder, there may be a better way though

Hi!

Don't know about more recent win versions. Try right clicking the dos prompt icon and then click 'Properties'. You should be able to modify the settings there.

So let's write a little batch file to have a choice needing only the entry of a single character and 'enter'.

To BuezaWebDev: you could even have different prompts (different settings, not only concerning the directory) by saving what you need in differently named .pif files.
