    Animated gifs in Mozilla/Firefox/Netscape

Is it just me, or do animated gifs run faster in Mozilla, Firefox, and Netscape than in Opera and IE? Is there any way I can slow them down?

If you open it up in an appropriate editor you should be able to change the frame(s) rate

Nono, this is not a gif problem, gifs do infact move faster in ff. I have noticed that too. I have no idea how to fix it, but I was wondering about it too.

I have the opposite problem. most of my gifs don't animate at all in ff but work fine in IE. I suspect I need a different way to code them. Is that true? If so, where do I find out about html for animated gifs in ff? (for a dummy)

    Thanks

I do believe in some versions of Firefox, you can choose whether or not it plays animated gifs.

It's an option in all browsers.

Where in Firefox 1.5.0.2 would I find the option to play animated GIFs?
