What do you think is a fair per hour / flat price for regular maintenance of a database for a website?
It would be about 6-8 hours per week, with things like updating information, adding / deleting, and organizing data. This would be in a database that is already established.
There are alot of variables. For example, it depentds who the client is; how established your expertise are; the size of the Web Site and database; the nature of the updates; whether you will be using a GUI, etc.
I would charge about $40 an hour for basic updates of a larger database.
My www.buntinedesign.com.au site is not operational at the moment. It hasnt been for about a year. I havent got time to operate my business at the moment.
