Hi, I'm new to this forum. I like what I see so far.
I've taken over management of http://www.power2u.org which has a yahoo store http://stores.yahoo.com/power2u, all of which was set up a few years ago. I find the yahoo store to be a pain to work with. I had to download and print over 200 pages in order to figure out how to make minor changes.
I am currently searching for a new web hosting account, it's currently with Primus, which is expensive and has few benefits compared to other hosting plans I've found. Do any of you use Yahoo for a store front, or have you switched from Yahoo? I see many hosts that provide shopping cart services, and other ecommerce solutions. I'm thinking of creating a new storefront using FrontPage 2003, and making use of a free or low cost shopping cart?
Several pre-made solutions are available. You can purchase E-Commerce packages that enable you to build and magage your Web Store. These solutions usually come bundled with a shopping cart application.
Making a visually pleasing, data-driven e-store using FrontPage may prove to be difficult. Unless you possess the neseccary programming and design skills, you should outsource the work load if at all possible.
Also, I use Nevidia for my -- and my clients -- hosting services. They have been good to me. www.nevidia.com
