Help Needed with Front Page

I am working on a portion of my office Intranet. I have some word and excel files that people need to access but whenever they click on the hyperlink the folder does not get opened and a message appears that they are not allowed to view the content of the folder. Is it possible to do anything in this situation? Please help me. Thanks.

If you want them to be able to view the contents of a directory as a list of files then you have to set the server to allow that and you have to make sure no file named index.htm or default.htm (or .html) is in that directory.
