I would think this would be an on going project looking for writers as the language progresses, and changes. my next question is this is it going to be set up like php.net where people are able to comment and all that... if so i would suggest that those that make a posting that is better suited for the topic have thier post implemented into the tutorial. Just a suggestion..

    Hi,

I would love to write some technical articles on PHP with MYSQl for you and can even send you some samples of the articles I have written for PHP. But before I do that I need to know: -

    a) What word length articles you would need
    b) Will the articles be posted in my name?
    c) What is the compensation you plan to pay for this?

    Cheers,

    ~Maneet

    Hi,

I'd be interested in writing articles. I've been a PHP developer for ten years and I've learned a thing or two along the way!

I could definiteley explain custom functions to a frog and after you had taught the frog to use a computer we would both be famous!

And that is the result of writing articles - not necessarily that you get paid for that - but you put on your cv ... author of php tutorials for the site 'frogs blogs'.

Soz - You need to read the first posts on this from years ago to make sense of my reply above. Just got carried away and replied at the end of page 1 before I realised there were all those extra comments.

it'd be decent if it were like php.net with a commented function list and such. them comments can be quite good when your in a pinch!
