I'm trying to find basic free ASP/html hosting on the .NET framework for mobile phone as I want to make my java applications available for download onto mobile phone. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
You do not need asp.net to make something viewable for a mobile phone, you just need a server and a file with some wml or xhtml (if the phone supports it). Asp.net mobile controls simply output wml and are a bit more adaptive according to user agent than a static wml file from my understanding. PS: asp.net is not the same thing as asp. If you a looking for a free asp and asp.net host and do not mind a bandwidth cap and ads you can always turn to www.brinkster.com if you do not want ads or a bandwidth cap but do not mind a time restriction on your hosting you can turn to http://europe.webmatrixhosting.net (asp.net only, no asp support).
