preload images?...

Is there a way to make browsers preload the next images into RAM for mouseovers? I know most folks have some type of "high speed" but some of us that live in the wilderness still have dial-up. I know the best policy is to keep image size low, but...I don't want to give up too much.

That said, someone please go over to www.morbidmoments.com and let me know if the mouseovers are slow, or is it just my countrybumpkin computer...
