    Open connection to a file

    Hi,
    I want to open a connection to a file located at another computer. Does anyone have any idea about this? I made URLConnection but it didn't hold.

    I can open URLConnection to the file at another computer,I can get inputStream from a text file in that computer but I can not from an xml file. Does anyone have any idea?

    If the file is on an SMB share then you can open it with a UNC path, //host/share/dir/dir/dir/file.xml.
