    Red face PLEASE HELP With ThickBox and IE

    I do not know if I am in the right forum. I do not know much about HTML nor JavaScript, so I apologize for posting this HELP request if I am in the wrong place.

    I managed to add ThickBox 3.1 as a pop up window
    for all the READ MORE links on our web

    http://www.iberitas.com

    They work fine in Firefox, safari, GoogleChrome but they do NOT OPEN in IE 7 nor 8 unless one reloads the page were the link is.

    I just followed the instructions here:

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...www.google.com

    I have tried to get help from the author of this post , of the people I bought the template from and even from Experts that charge you a fee ... but have not gotten and answer or the answer was negative.

    COULD SOME ONE HERE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE ?
    I would really appreciate it.

    I use the jQuery old version 1.2 as suggested in the tutorial ... did try with a newer version but the Thickbox did not work.

    Following the tutorial, this is the the code I placed on the HTML document:

    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html lang="en">
    <head>
    ... type="text/javascript" src="popup/js/jquery.js">...>
    ... type="text/javascript" src="popup/js/thickbox.js">...>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="popup/js/thickbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    <title></title>
    ... charset="utf-8">

    <li> <img src="images/gallery-7.png" alt="" /> <strong> <b>7 / 8</b> </strong>
    <div> <em>Fall in love with</em>
    <p>... your findings, your travel experience, and <span class="style11">Iberia</span>.</p>
    <br /><br /><br /><br /><i> <a href="popup/w-MORE.html?height=405&amp;width=680" class="thickbox">More</a></i></div>
    </li>

    If I am placing this in the wrong place, can some one please tell me were I can get some help. I will be glad to pay some sort of fee or donation. Thank you for your help

    it can be used for many things, not just images

    "Can display images, HTML elements, SWF movies, Iframes and also Ajax requests"

    e.g. checkout http://fancybox.net/blog example no5 i.e. the form

    Thank you for the link ... your are right.
    If i can not get this issue resolved I will try fancybox.

    I already have about 16 popup windows made with thickbox
    and it does work fine in firefox, safari, GoogleChrome ... just has problems with IE7 and 8 ... only shows on reloading page with link to popup window.

    belenfp,

    Did you ever find a solution to the thickbox issue? WordPress uses the code in the admin panel (Plug-In descriptions, etc) and it presumably works in all browsers, but I'm also having difficulties in IE 7 & 8 (I am told that it is working successfully in IE9 - way to go Microsoft).

    Thanks,
