I do not know if I am in the right forum. I do not know much about HTML nor JavaScript, so I apologize for posting this HELP request if I am in the wrong place.
I managed to add ThickBox 3.1 as a pop up window
for all the READ MORE links on our web
I have tried to get help from the author of this post , of the people I bought the template from and even from Experts that charge you a fee ... but have not gotten and answer or the answer was negative.
COULD SOME ONE HERE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE ?
I would really appreciate it.
I use the jQuery old version 1.2 as suggested in the tutorial ... did try with a newer version but the Thickbox did not work.
Following the tutorial, this is the the code I placed on the HTML document:
<li> <img src="images/gallery-7.png" alt="" /> <strong> <b>7 / 8</b> </strong>
<div> <em>Fall in love with</em>
<p>... your findings, your travel experience, and <span class="style11">Iberia</span>.</p>
<br /><br /><br /><br /><i> <a href="popup/w-MORE.html?height=405&width=680" class="thickbox">More</a></i></div>
</li>
If I am placing this in the wrong place, can some one please tell me were I can get some help. I will be glad to pay some sort of fee or donation. Thank you for your help
Thank you for the link ... your are right.
If i can not get this issue resolved I will try fancybox.
I already have about 16 popup windows made with thickbox
and it does work fine in firefox, safari, GoogleChrome ... just has problems with IE7 and 8 ... only shows on reloading page with link to popup window.
Did you ever find a solution to the thickbox issue? WordPress uses the code in the admin panel (Plug-In descriptions, etc) and it presumably works in all browsers, but I'm also having difficulties in IE 7 & 8 (I am told that it is working successfully in IE9 - way to go Microsoft).
