    Why is it that the page cannot be displayed?

    I get:
    The page cannot be displayed
    There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.

    You're probably using IE to test your page. If you turn off IE's so-called "friendly error messages" then you will get more accurate information as to where the problem lies.

    shouldn't it be

    outpostDB.Open(GetConnectionString())
    since you already made outpostDB a ADODB.Connection object?
    another possibility:

    Server.MapPath("hebrewbible.mdb")
    Kids, kids... you tried your best, and you failed miserably; the lesson is: never try.
