    MetaTags - Guide?

Is there a reference that tells me what Meta Tags I should have on my pages to optimize my chances of being indexed by the search engines and found?

I am sure I am using outdated tags and want to get them fixed.
If you want to peek at my meta, look at

    Thanks!

There is a good article here: http://searchenginewatch.com/webmast...le.php/2167931

It also has several excellent links at the end of the article.

Well, first off, HTML 3.2 hasn't been in use since about 1997.
    Second, your code has errors.
You can validate your code at W3C (www.w3.org).
That's the organization responsible for internet standards.
    See: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ww...drabarreto.com
Finally, search engines don't really use the Meta tags anymore.
The most they would do with them is use the description meta tag in the search engine results description of your site.
Validate your code at w3.org. Get
    Get FireFox!
