how to add ricoh aficio 2045e printer to network

Hi guys. I wonder how i can add ricoh aficio 2045e printer and photocopy mechine to network so every body in the network be able to use it.The current network consist of around 10 desk top (mac and windows) .There is one compaq server and on the top of it there is a switch if i am not mistaking. I have trouble putting this ricoh aficio 2045e to work .i be happy to get some feed back from experts.Thanks

I suppose you are using win32?

With 2k and 03' server, or just XP , you can right click on the printer name and hit share . Or manaully enter the printer path to each computer.. //Servername/$printer


And make sure each computer is on the same workgroup

Thank u for u reply.well how i can find the servername if it is first time to connect the printer to the switch? i assume all the computers are 32 bits not higher! i do not know even how to assign that printer an ip! could u help me how i can add an static ip to the new printer? Thanks

well the main server is windows 2000 and other computers are windows xp home edition and mac.
